Additional Information
Please take note of the following important details about Churchill War Rooms accessibility:
- The Churchill War Rooms can be very busy during weekends and peak holiday or tourist seasons. This may make the site less suitable for those who prefer to avoid crowds or experience claustrophobia.
- The building has an air ventilation system to maintain a comfortable temperature. However, the number of visitors on-site can impact temperature levels. If you are concerned about heat in the summer months, we recommend visiting after 15:00, when visitor numbers tend to be lower. If you are concerned about the cold during the winter months, we suggest visiting around midday, when there are usually more visitors.
- A baby changing facility is available near the start point of the tour.
- Highchairs are available in the café, subject to availability.
If you have any questions or require assistance, please feel free to ask any volunteer or staff member. We are always happy to help ensure your visit is as comfortable as possible.
