London Eye Accessibility

London Eye is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for all guests. Whether you’re visiting with mobility aids, sensory sensitivities, or with a carer, their team is ready to assist and ensure your day is unforgettable.

Mobility Access & Wheelchairs

The London Eye welcomes guests with mobility requirements. The attraction can accommodate:

- Wheelchairs up to 94cm wide on the London Eye

- Mobility scooters within the same dimensions are permitted

The attraction offers ramp access and priority boarding. The rotation of the London Eye can be slowed or paused to ensure safe and comfortable boarding for all.

Accessible Queuing & Entrances

Guests who find it difficult to stand for long periods due to physical, emotional, or cognitive reasons may use their Accessible (Fastrack) Queue Line. Just speak to a member of staff at the Fastrack entrance for help.

Carer Tickets

The London Eye attraction offers one free carer ticket per paying disabled guest. Accepted documentation includes:

- Disability Living Allowance or PIP

- Attendance or Carer’s Allowance

- Blue Badge or CVI

- International disability identification (ISA symbol)

Carers must be aged 14 years or older.

Hearing & Visual Impairments

Induction loops are installed at tills.

Assistance dogs are welcome aboard (excluding emotional support animals).

Pregnant/Breastfeeding Guests

Expecting guests are welcome to visit The London Eye at any stage of their pregnancy, with full access to all levels of the attraction. Additionally, we proudly support breastfeeding and are happy to provide a quiet space upon request for added comfort.

First Aid

Multiple first aid kits are located throughout the attraction, with trained first aiders available on-site. If you need medical assistance during your visit, simply reach out to a team member. While on the Pod, communication is possible via the onboard intercom for any required support.

Toilets

There are two accessible toilets available on-site, with one requiring a RADAR Key for access. If you need any assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask a staff member.

Sensory Guide

Prepare for sensory elements such as:

- Visual: flashing lights (e.g., from cameras), city views from above

- Auditory: music, voiceovers, crowds

Helpful Tips Before Your Visit

The time on your ticket for the London Eye is your queue time, not boarding time.

Toilet access is unavailable during the ride - plan ahead.

FAQ

Can I bring a pushchair or buggy to the London Eye?

Yes. Customers can bring a pushchair or buggy with them onto one of the pods of the London Eye. It needs to be fully folded / closed before joining the boarding queue, remain closed throughout the experience including at the entrance and exit ramps, until after guests have exited the attraction. There are also left luggage facilities in the ticket hall where you can leave your buggy or pushchair for free showing your London Eye ticket. It will have to be collected by 7pm.

Is the London Eye suitable for pregnant guests?

Absolutely! The London Eye warmly welcomes pregnant guests. Our pods provide comfortable seating, and toilet facilities are conveniently located near the ticket office. The rotation lasts 30 minutes.

Is the London Eye Wheelchair Accessible?

Yes, the London Eye is fully accessible and we welcome guests with all accessible needs. Due to health and safety we are only permitted to allow entry to two wheelchair users per pod and eight on The London Eye at any one time. To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend booking a wheelchair slot in advance.

Are there any toilet facilities at the London Eye?

Toilets are located in the ticket office at the London Eye by the VIP desk. Customers will find male, female toilets downstairs, and accessible toilet, and baby changing facilities at ground level.

Can I smoke?

Smoking is strictly prohibited on the attraction.
