Things to Know Before Your Visit to the Churchill War Rooms
For safety and convenience, large bags, suitcases, and pull-along baggage are not permitted inside the Churchill War Rooms. All bags and personal items may be subject to security checks upon entry.
Step-free access is available via Horse Guards Road by St James's Park. The museum is wheelchair accessible throughout, with a lift connecting the basement and street levels. Note that the narrowest point of the tour is 68cm, and the tightest corner is 90 degrees. Wheelchairs and foldable chairs are available upon request at the ticket desk, subject to availability.
Audio-described tours are available to enhance the experience.
British Sign Language (BSL) tours are provided, along with audio guides in multiple languages.
Audio guides are included with all general admission tickets and are available in multiple languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Hebrew, Ukrainian, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Mandarin, and Swedish. Specialized guides, such as audio-described tours and BSL tours, are also available.
